Zacc Harris has gained a reputation as one of the upper Midwest’s top guitarists since moving to Minneapolis in 2005. In 2017, City Pages named Zacc Best Jazz Artist. His 2021 album Small Wonders was named in Downbeat‘s Best Albums of the Year list. Critic Bill Milkowski gave the album a glowing four-star review.

He has released three albums as a leader and has toured throughout the US and UK. Also, this includes a 2016 run with Zacc Harris Group at London’s famed Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. In addition to his own groups, Harris has co-led the collective Atlantis Quartet since 2006. Further, Atlantis Quartet has released five albums to date and received the prestigious McKnight Fellowship in 2015. Zacc Harris Group showcases the guitarist’s original compositions “which adeptly and compellingly link the past and future of jazz” (City Pages).

Ted Olsen is a bassist and composer from Minneapolis. As a composer, he focuses on creating bright moments within the framework of spontaneous group interplay. As an instrumentalist, he plays with a bouncy rhythmic vitality and a fiery optimistic spirit.

His groups have been featured at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, The Artists’ Quarter and Icehouse. He has also performed at Nocturne Jazz Club in Denver, CO and Festival No Improviso in Curitiba, Brazil. In 2017 he released his début record, Joyfire, on Shifting Paradigm Records. Then, in 2019 he was named an alternate to the International Society of Bassists’ Jazz Competition. He has been a stalwart of the Twin Cities music scene for the past decade. Furthermore, he is regularly enlisted by top jazz luminaries. He has also branched out into working with artists from the folk, rock, R&B and contemporary classical scenes.
