Help us celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Peterson Family Christmas Show. This is a whole family tradition not to be missed. Acclaimed as Minnesota’s First Family of Music, they have also performed locally, nationally, and internationally for many years. For example, they perform with Bob Dylan, Prince, Kenny Loggins, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Michael Bolton, Oleta Adams, Steve Miller, The Time and many more. Further, they received induction into the Midwest Music Hall of Fame and collectively appear on 100 gold and platinum records. This year The Peterson Family features Linda, Billy, Patty, Ricky, Paul, Jason and special guests from the fourth generation.
Linda Peterson is an international recording artist, songwriter, pianist and vocalist. Linda has also released five CDs as bandleader.
Billy Peterson is one of the premier bass players in the world. Moreover, he’s worked with Eddie Harris, Leo Kottke, Bob Dylan and Steve Miller, to name a few.
Ricky Peterson is one of the busiest studio and session keyboard players and producers in America. Ricky has toured with Fleetwood Mac, Bonnie Raitt, John Mayer, David Sanborn and also Stevie Nicks.
Patty Peterson is a dynamic vocalist with seven Minnesota Music awards to her credit. An award-winning vocalist, Patty has also released five solo CDs. Additionally, Patty is also a radio personality for KBEM Jazz88.
Paul Peterson was discovered at age seventeen by Prince and features in his award-winning film Purple Rain, performing with the group The Time. Paul has also recorded with George Benson, Oleta Adams, Anita Baker, and Paula Abdul.
Jason Peterson DeLaire is the first performer of the “grandchildren” to join the professional ranks. To that end, he works with Michael Bolton, Prince, Alexander O’Neal, Richard Marx, Donny Osmond, Oleta Adams and others.
