Guitarist, composer, producer, and arranger Chieli Minucci has led his band Special EFX, a major force on the jazz and world music scene, since 1982. Over that time they have played thousands of shows, received multiple Grammy nominations, and in 2018 won Billboard Magazine’s Song of the Year.

Besides writing and performing his own music, Chieli has recorded and performed with many top artists, including Celine Dion, Lou Reed, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Bolton, and many others. He has also won 3 Emmy Awards for his TV music work.
