“a fine bassist and a bandleader” – Downbeat

In this musical road movie, Kyle and his quintet will perform the soundtracks associated with his father, Clint Eastwood’s masterpieces.

“Kyle took some of the most memorable songs, themes, and master collaborations and merged classical and jazz together. They salute the pictures’ original directors, composers, arrangers, and conductors. It is truly a sight to see, and we hope you enjoy the show.” – Clint Eastwood

This concert is a musical expression of the close-knit relationship between two art forms. Music and movies both have the power of emotionally charged dreams. Further, this show celebrates these two artists, who besides their family ties share the same passion for cinema and music.

Clint Eastwood the actor and director: the nameless taciturn man in a green poncho in the Italian Dollar Trilogy. Also, Harry Callahan, the solitary and expeditious 1970’s San Francisco Inspector. Additionally, the virtuoso film director, who tirelessly questions the myth of the American hero and our social order through various genres. Clint Eastwood, in his nineties, produced his thirty-ninth film: 2021’s Cry Macho.

Kyle Eastwood initiated this project intending to perform the movie themes from his father’s films. Movies such as Gran Torino, Letters From Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathers and Bridges of Madison County. Both as an actor and musician, Kyle has always been passionately in love with what he does. “Clint and I have always had a beautiful working relationship“.

Since his 1998 debut recording, Kyle has released several critically acclaimed albums and collaborated with a number of other musicians. With his album Cinematic (2019), Kyle Eastwood has crafted a vibrant tribute to his two life passions. Moreover, he instills his creativity, sensitivity and jubilation into original soundtracks that have since become classics.
