This year, Dakota will once again be hosting a meal pack in partnership with Harvest Pack. This year’s charity will be The Sheridan Story: Fighting Child Hunger. We invite anyone who wants to join us to volunteer packing 15,000 meals. The pack is expected to last for about two hours, but volunteers can stay as long or as little as they’d like. Come for one hour or stay the entire time through the evening’s sound check (or perhaps you wish to stay for the show w/Humbird + Aida Shahghasemi, Jeremy Ylvisaker & Jacqueline Ultan) – whatever works! Any additional donations will also be accepted for Harvest Pack.
This is part of an on-going effort at the Dakota to support our communities and in doing our part, no matter how small, in providing relief efforts.
About The Sheridan Story:
More than 200,000 children in Minnesota live with food insecurity. Without reliable access to food – such as meal programs at school – the risk of hunger is very real. The Sheridan Story works to combat hunger in our community by filling the gaps to food access that children face: primarily weekends and Summers. Learn more about The Sheridan Story HERE >>
