Aby Wolf is a Minneapolis-based vocalist, music maker, and passionate collaborator with an elastic skillset. Whether writing vocal arrangements, fulfilling commissions, or performing in clubs, theaters, and schools from Brainerd to Bratislava to Beijing, Aby brings a palpable element of joy to whatever endeavor she pursues. Aby has worked with Dessa, Martin Dosh, The New Standards, Brother Ali, Dark Dark Dark, and many others.

She will be joined by the organ trio Loosefoot, featuring Kevin Gastonguay on Hammond B3 organ, Zacc Harris on guitar and Pete James Johnson on drums. Gastonguay is keyboardist and composer based in Minneapolis.  He records and tours internationally w/ Cory Wong as well as many Minneapolis bands like Nooky Jones, New Sound Underground, Dr. Mambo’s Combo, Pizza Coupon, and JT Bates Grain trio. Harris has been one of the Twin Cities most respected guitarists since moving here in 2005, being named Best Jazz Artist in 2017 by City Pages. His 2021 album Small Wonders received a glowing 4-star review from Downbeat Magazine. Pete James Johnson is an awe-inspiring drummer who lights up every stage and is a first call for touring acts coming through town. The trio first performed a tribute to the music of Pat Martino earlier this year.
