NO COVER
7:00 pm
Hurricane Sandy has stranded most of Maria Schneider’s Jazz Orchestra in New York City so the scheduled performances will not be held on Tuesday or Wednesday. Trumpeter Ingrid Jenson and drummer Clarence Penn, two of Maria’s musicians who were able to make it to town, will join forces with some local jazz all-stars to play a benefit for hurricane relief. Music starts at 7:00pm. Donations to the hurricane relief fund can be made at the Dakota on your guest check and all profits from a special hurricane relief cocktail will be dedicated to the fund. Join us for a special night of food, music and fundraising. Check back here for more updates and a newly rescheduled date in early 2013 for Maria Schneider.
