Divas Sing For Dads

Grammy award winning and platinum recording artist Jamecia Bennett and The Divas for Dads Foundation host Divas Sing for Dads, the Twin Cities’ first annual Father’s Day benefit concert and Celebration. This Father’s Day Celebration is the first of its kind to be hosted in the Twin Cities, bringing ten special performing artists: Jamecia Bennett, Dennis Spears, Kathleen Johnson, Gwen Matthews, Thomasina, Timotha Lanae, Debbie Duncan, Aimee Fisher, Jevetta Steele and Desdamona to the stage honoring fathers. This year the event is raising funds to be donated to the MADDADS Single father’s program stationed in the Twin Cities.

The Divas for Dads Foundation seeks to be a catalyst for change in regard to reversing the negative social perception of young single fathers. Also, the foundation seeks to recognize that men young and old, and of every background must have a positive outlook on life, with great support to help them cope with the incredible duty of being a single parent. Lastly, the mission of this organization is to be a positive force that uses voices and a sphere of influence to speak up, sing out, and take action in the name of family.
