Josh Rouse

with Special Guest AM

Intelligent, intimate, honest & sensual. Josh’s easy flowing melodies, coaxed along by his cherubic rasp, are as natural as each breath and equally as important. Josh Rouse’s roots exist from life in Nebraska, Nashville, New York and now Spain.

This Midwestern native has been crafting atmospheric folk-pop for over 10 years. His music fits comfortably in the context of countless TV shows and movies, and recent records have found him absorbing the sound and culture of his new home in Spain. His latest, El Turista, is a sublime collection of Spanish-tinged pop that echoes classic Getz/Gilberto records.

• “Valencia” from the new record

• “Sweetie” from a recent tour

“AM’s band has a soulful synchronicity. Their music was, oh I know I shouldn’t say it but, groovy.“- Popwreckoning

“This is pop music for the refined ear, or, rather, the ear that remembers what pop music was really always supposed to be.”-The Deli Magazine, Featured CD Of The Month

“A challenging, complex record, Future Sons & Daughters offers the sophisticated ear an exceptional experience, something like an amalgamation of Beck and the Beach Boys at their best.” – Performer Magazine
