Adam Meckler Quintet

Adam Meckler may be new to the Twin Cities, but this well-studied trumpeter is poised to make some real noise in the scene. A recent graduate of Lawrence University’s esteemed jazz program, Meckler brings a highly refined melodic sense to his writing, and takes chances with his solos in very exciting ways. Meckler is also heard backing up his wife, the striking young vocalist Jana Nyberg, who is just stepping into performing roles in the metro area.
