From the house of Frank comes an instantly enjoyable new quintet, led by the original music of trumpeter Dan Frankowski. With a collective resume as varied as it is long (Cedar Ave. Big Band, Snowblind, Triplicate, Steeling Dan, to name but a few), this group meets somewhere near the middle, melding pop and rock progressions with a jazz aesthetic that makes for an accessible ride through several styles.
