The Subdudes

The idea has always been a simple one: perform melodic acoustic music, with the focus on harmonies, not heavy instrumentation. This is the idea that, in 1987, took the Subdudes from becoming just another overblown rock band to being one of the most unique groups to ever come out of New Orleans. With an Americana sound that is informed by folk, blues, and country, the Subdudes are playing some of the best music or their career with the release of their latest record, “Flower Petals.”
