Local jazz piano angel Caviani is perhaps best known for her studies of Thelonious Monk’s angular bebop piano stylings. She has also received a lot of national attention for her latest original CD, Going There. Her joyful, buoyant playing and smart, inventive horn and vocal arrangements make her one of the most original pianistic voices in town.
