Boz Scaggs

With his patented folk/soul blend and
instantly recognizable voice, Boz Scaggs is
one of the most successful pop artists of his
generation. Raised with an enduring respect
for American roots music, Scaggs first garnered
acclaim for his work with high school
classmate Steve Miller, appearing on his first
two records. Embarking on a solo career in
1968, Boz really came into his own in the
70’s, releasing several critically acclaimed
albums and scoring hits with “Lowdown”
and “Lido Shuffle,” among others. This fall,
he is touring in support of his first studio
recording in five years and second volume of
jazz standards, Speak Low.
